ESIP Winter Meeting: January 9 - 11, 2018

Welcome to the 2018 Winter Meeting for the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP)! The 2018 theme is Realizing the Socioeconomic Value of Data. The theme is based on one of the goals in the 2015 - 2020 ESIP Strategic Plan, which provides a framework for ESIP’s activities over the next three years.

Ryan Elizabeth Bowe, GISP, PMP is a photogrammetrist with Woolpert with over 17 years’ experience in the geospatial industry. Ryan successfully manages a large number of airport master plan base mapping and vertical obstruction projects.  As geospatial project manager, her experience encompasses all aspects of digital mapping, photogrammetry, surveying, and remote sensing with specialized knowledge of GIS.
Her responsibilities include creation of tens of thousands of metadata files for geospatial datasets, some of which she acquired, edited, documented, and delivered to clients. She stays active in her profession through URISA and ASPRS. She is the Vice Chair of the GIS Committee of InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards and Chair of the Sustaining Members Council of ASPRS. She has her Masters in GIS from the University of Minnesota.
