Back in the 1990's I worked at Goddard Space Flight Center on the Digital Library Joint Initiative with DARPA and NSF. With IBM and Johns Hopkins School of Epidemiology we were founding Type II members of the ESIP Federation. Currently I'm working with the American Library Association and the American Philosophical Association on library innovation using modal logics and "propositional attitudes" to improve library integration across disciplines.
Ask me: What is that that makes data data? How can we recruit epistemics to enhance semantics? How can we apply radial categories to facilitate the healthy ambiguation of terms necessary to communicate across contexts?
