Welcome to the 2018 Winter Meeting for the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP)! The 2018 theme is Realizing the Socioeconomic Value of Data. The theme is based on one of the goals in the 2015 - 2020 ESIP Strategic Plan, which provides a framework for ESIP’s activities over the next three years.

AGU Enabling FAIR Data Project

In the Earth and space sciences, data provide diverse and important societal benefits. The Enabling FAIR Data project team will work with partners, major Earth and space science data repositories, publishers, editorial workflow vendors, researchers, and allied stakeholders to develop common standards and workflows for submission of data, connect repositories and publishers, develop and implement tools needed for search and discovery, and enhance quality peer review.
